Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan

Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Elwyn

At Elwyn, we are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where every individual is valued and respected. Our dedication to DEI is reflected in various initiatives, projects, and programs that aim to create a more equitable and diverse environment for all employees and stakeholders. Below are some key points highlighting our efforts in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

We take pride in our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that serve as valuable platforms for our employees to connect, share experiences, and advocate for their respective communities.

Our ERGs include:

  • Black Employee Network (B.E.N.)
  • Elwyn Pride Network (E.P.N.) (LGBTQIA+)
  • Women of Elwyn (W.O.E.)
  • ABLE@ Elwyn (Employees with Neurodiversity & Disabilities)

Key Projects

Targeted Policy Review & Revision

We are continually reviewing and revising our policies to ensure they promote fairness, inclusivity, and equal opportunities. Areas of focus include discipline, promotion, transfers, harassment, and investigation and remediation.

Bias-Free Facility Designs

We conduct physical site audits of all our locations in California, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey to eliminate any architectural barriers and ensure accessibility for all.

Title 3 Accessibility Improvements

We are committed to improving the accessibility of our website, making it more user-friendly for all individuals.

Review of Hiring Data

A committee comprising HR, Talent Acquisition, Risk, and DEI conducts regular reviews of hiring data, ensuring compliance with EEOC and AAP guidelines and anti-discrimination.

Family Planning Benefits & Guardianship Leave Programs

We are investigating the possibility of adding family planning benefits and offer guardianship leave to support employees in their personal and family responsibilities.

Employee Literacy

At Elwyn, we recognize that our employees come from all over the globe and that literacy plays and enormous role in  their personal and professional growth. The employee literacy project is our dedicated effort to empower our workforce with enhanced reading, writing, communication skills, and technological prowess.

Creating a baseline for Bias incidents

In our continuous pursuit of fostering an inclusive workplace, the DEI & HR team are creating a process to establishing a baseline for bias incidents and data reporting. This project aims to comprehensively understand and address bias incidents within our organization. By creating a baseline that enables us to measure, track, and respond effectively to bias incidents. We hope to establish a foundation of data, we can use to identify patterns, implement targeted interventions, and work towards a workplace that is free from discrimination.

Elwyn is proud to foster a culture of inclusivity, belonging, and respect, where every individual can thrive and contribute to our collective success. We are dedicated to building a diverse workforce and creating an equitable environment for all. Our journey towards a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization is ongoing, and we welcome your support in making Elwyn a truly inclusive community.
